Our seasonal cooking workshops (courses – if you’d like to do a set) – look at the ‘seasons’ – what is naturally available / cooking with fresh produce.

Colin, our chef, is a professionally trained chef of some 40 plus years – he has trained many young chefs and done workshops for many sectors, he is passionate about his craft & was inspired by the traditional cooking of his grandmother who was the head house keeper at the Penrice estate when he was young.

Colin studied catering at college, he then went on to further his career honing his skills in the RAF. When returning to Gower he worked in many prestigious restaurants around Gower & Swansea as head chef.

We have a classic cookery workshop coming up – see below – our seasonal courses will start in April when there is more local produce available.

Classic Cookery… Saturday 28th March 2026 – Cooking with Colin… Easter baking.

Spend the day cooking with Colin – learning new skills… The day includes – refreshments / lunch / ingredients / you keep what you make / entry to the Gower Heritage Centre (& flour milling tour)

Timings… day starts at 10.30am & ends at 3pm

The cost is £50 per person per workshop – this includes lunch and all ingredients – entry to the Gower Heritage Centre & parking.

There are limited numbers & the workshops are held in a professional kitchen therefore not suitable for people under 18 years of age.
